Well just relax.
You're not the only one. The majority of people your age don't have a clue either; and, if
they do, their career choice is subject to change before it's all over.
So what do you do now? If you know that you want a college education, you
can go ahead and begin taking the basic classes and electives. There are enough of these
to keep you busy for a while. During this time, you can begin that search of your
"ultimate destiny." The important thing is that you stay busy working for your
future.Suggestions
Visit your college campus career center. Many colleges have
literature and software that allow you to explore different career choices.
Browse the internet. There are various
sights on the web that allow you to explore career options. Some excellent sights to visit
are

have books that can enlighten you on career duties, salaries, qualifications and
employment trends. Consult the latest editions of the

Take a summer job or internship in
the field that interests you. Nothing will give you a clearer indication than to actually
work or volunteer in your desired field. Contact your college about possible internship or
co-op programs that could give you this experience.
Interview professionals in your chosen field. Most people will be glad to give you
information about required skills, courses, benefits, working conditions and future
trends.
Monitor the classified ads and employment
agencies. This will allow you to check for job requirements, occupational demand, salary
ranges and duties.
Are you interested in the financial
industry?
Is helping others important to you?
Are you ambitious and eager?
